Our Love Story
Ours is a love story built on deep connection, shared dreams and a spirit of adventure. After meeting in our beautiful home state of Tasmania, we quickly became inseparable, it was like we had known each other forever. Two years later, we made the leap to move our lives to Queensland, drawn by the promise of sunshine and the chance to build a life entirely of our own.

Nearly nine years on, our journey has even taken us as us far as New York City, where Lochie pulled off the most incredible proposal. On the first day of our trip to the USA, as the sun dipped below the skyline from the top of the Empire State Building, he got down on one knee. It was nothing short of magical.

As we prepare to return to our home state to say ‘I do,’ our hearts are full. Full of gratitude for where we’ve been, and full of joy for everything still to come. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our closest family and friends in the place where our story began. We hope our wedding feels like us - warm, romantic and filled with little touches that speak to our journey and the life we've built together.

Waterton Hall Wines is located in the Tamar Valley Wine Region, 40 minutes from Launceston at 61 Waterton Hall Road, Rowella, TAS 7270.

The Venue​
There are a range of accommodation options near the venue, but we recommend Tamar Valley Resort Grindelwald as we will be arranging transport for our guests to/from here so you can make the most of the night!
To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration, we will be providing return bus transport between Tamar Valley Resort Grindelwald and the venue.

The bus will depart Grindlewald at 1:45pm sharp and leave from Waterton Hall Wines at 11:40pm.

Plenty of parking is also available at the venue should you wish to drive.
Gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. In place of traditional gifts, we kindly ask guests to contribute $65 per person to help us provide a day filled with delicious food and flowing drinks.

As much as we love your little ones, due to venue requirements and limited capacity, we are unable to extend the invitation to children or plus ones. We hope this can be a special opportunity for you to enjoy a well-deserved day off and celebrate with us child-free.
